Asthma a condition often of allergic origin ,affecting the airways that carry air to and from lungs. People suffer from this long lasting and recurrent condition are called as Asthmatics.
If you frequently experience shortness of breath , whistling or wheezy sound in your chest when you breathe, you may have asthma. Symptoms include coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.
Asthma classified according to causes , . People with this condition usually work around chemical fumes, dust or other irritants in the air. They may have occupational asthma. If physical exertion makes it difficult to breathe, then this may be exercise-induced asthma. Other causes are cold weather, exposure to pollutants, upper respiratory tract infections due to virus.
Typical Symptoms include wheeze, cough, chest tightness and dyspnoea along with presence of airflow obstruction that is variable over short periods of time ,or is reversible with treatment.
